DownUnder Honey We love to support local food producers, here on the farm we host beehives from DownUnder which means when you stay at the homestead you can sample honey collected on farm by our friends down the road. If you would like to visit the shop to purchase honey to take home with you the shop is a five minute drive on your way into Feilding. Corbet Potatoes Famous in Cheltenham/Kiwitea, our friends the Corbets grow potatoes in the paddocks in and around this area, stop in at their farm gate just out of Cheltenham village to buy some farm fresh potatoes on your way past.
Three Oaks Organics If you were lucky enough (subject to seasonal supply) you may have sampled the delicious organic milk and pot set yoghurt from our friends at Three Oaks organics in your breakfast provided at the homestead - If you would like to purchase more produce, they sell it from their farmgate, approx 30 minutes drive south just out of Palmerston North. www.threeoaksorganic.co.nz/
Lewis Farms If you are heading south, don’t miss an opportunity to visit Lewis Farms - approx. an hour’s drive from the homestead it's a must do stop over the summer months. They specialise in asparagus and strawberries; their farm shop is a real treat with local produce to purchase and incredible real fruit ice-cream.
