A trip to the picturesque rural town of Feilding is a must, an easy 15-minute drive.  Explore some of the interesting retail shops for some unique gifts or maybe see a movie at our boutique cinema & cafe, Focal Point Cinemas. 

The Coachhouse Museum & Feilding Saleyards are unique agricultural experiences to check out. Feilding Golf course is also worth a look if you are wanting a nice course to play & a decent meal and beer after.

Feilding's Farmers Fridays guided tour

Arrive on a Thursday night or Friday morning and immerse yourself in a truly unique local experience & explore our unique agricultural heritage.  Explore yourself or let us take you on a tour where we can share our local knowledge and insights. 

Our guided tour which includes a visit to the bustling Farmers Market, where you meet local producers, discover fresh, local produce and artisanal goods. For a rare glimpse into rural life, we visit the southern hemisphere’s largest livestock trading hub, the Feilding Saleyard, which operates every Friday from 10am to 1pm.

​The stockyards are a significant part of Feilding's heritage, providing a deep dive into the town's agricultural roots, you'll also get an insider's view of the livestock industry & maybe even help Ian buy some stock!  If you are interested in delving deeper into agricultural history, we can also visit the Coach House Museum.
Tours are $40pp when staying with us, includes morning tea at the market, transport to & from town (for groups of 2-6 people).
